About Crop PDF
Cropping trims the visible page area by the margins you set, measured as the page is displayed. Use it to remove scanner borders or wide white margins.
Cropping hides the trimmed area rather than deleting it, so the removed content can still exist inside the file. To remove sensitive information, redact it with a dedicated tool instead.
